Popular Nigerian artiste and actor, Banky Wellington has called the IGP of the Nigerian Police Force, Mohammed Adamu to resign from his office as he doesn’t see the Police Force undergoing a reform under him.

The protest against police brutality grows every day and there has been a response of little significance from the government and the police force.

Despite the disbandment of the SARS unit by the IGP of the Nigerian Police Force, cases of police brutality still occur everyday even as the protests are still going on.

These cases suggest that the IGP doesn’t have any real control over the activities of those under him.
Banky W speaking on this tweeted “Meanwhile when a company has been mismanaged into bankruptcy and disaster, they fire the CEO. You don’t expect reform from the same person that allowed things to get this bad. You fire the CEO. In our case, that CEO is the IG. The IG must go. Pls resign, Sir. #EndSARS #5for5”
